You would need to build from source for this.

Applying the patch is done by downloading the patch (say
at /path/to/patchfile) and by issuing the command

cd /path/to/daisy-src/
patch -p0 < /path/to/patchfile

(Under debian variants, there is a package called patch - it can be
installed using 'sudo apt-get install patch')

There also is a windows variant, which can be found here:
