Hi,

I added a comment to an already closed issue
(http://issues.cocoondev.org/browse/DSY-538) in januari.
There was a problem in including images in a book publication using
publisher requests.
Maybe its something for this release?

cheers

Bob

Actually, I was thinking of doing the release today. I could postpone it
until tomorrow morning (CST), but anyway please send in the patch today
if you can, so that we can check it before tomorrow. TIA.

Windows-installer: adaptions and improvements

         Key: DSY-616
         URL: http://issues.cocoondev.org//browse/DSY-616
     Project: Daisy
        Type: Improvement
  Components: Installation
    Versions: 2.2
 Environment: Windows
 Reporter: Andreas Deininger
    Priority: Minor

Adaptions and improvements to the Windows-Installer for the upcoming 2.2
release:
* upgraded to latest versions of MySQL and JRE, adapted version numbers
* simplified routine for site creation
* improved check for connection to database
* improved error logging
* added documentation for PCRE-plugin
* bug fixing

These improvements will lay the ground for incorporating an update feature
into the installer in future releases.

I just submitted DSY-616, were nice if you incorporated that prior to
the 2.2 release. This patch does not provide an update feature for the
windows installer yet, but it's a step into that direction.
Additionally, could you please have a look at DSY-609? This patch
actually provides an update feature for the debian package (starting
from version 2.1)
Also, IMHO DSY-611 should be taken care of prior to the 2.2 release
since it's a blocker. I had a quick look at it and found out that the
ORDER BY of the query performed is empty.
And last but not least: any objections against applying DSY-523?

Regards
Andreas
