[daisy] E-mail rendering

Hi again ;-)

Yes, perhaps my previous mail was a bit negative. There is no reason
not to use Daisy as a DMS if you properly plan for it (taking the
limitations of Daisy and the amount of work that you are willing to
spend into account).

So here's my constructive feedback (Yes, it I am doing a 180° here, sue
me ;-)

- Java libraries exist for processing mails
- Think about your document model: Are your attachments separate
documents that are linked to the mail (parent-linked or child-linked?)
or do you have one document which contains the mail (in the first case
you will need an extension for creating the document (splitting up the
mail etc, in the last case you will need an extension for viewing the
attachments).
- Intergration with mail-client: as you indicated yourself: it will be
cumbersome (and possibly error-prone) to open the email source and
copy-paste into Daisy - If you have control about the mail client you
could create a script (lotus notes?) or extension (thunderbird) or macro
(outlook) to automate the process.

When I said 'nontrivial' earlier I mostly meant: you are going to need
to do a considerable amount of work - find out beforehand how motivated
you are ;-)

And when I said:
> I strongly suggest you research other solutions.
I should have said '... you *also* research other solutions' ;-)

Regards,
Karel
