[daisy] Customized workflow mails - how to?

Dear list,

I need to customize our workflow mails, after some users were quite 
unhappy about the standard ones...

Daisy does not seem to pick up the files I created in the directory stated 
in the myconfig.xml udner <mailTemplates>: 
<location>${daisy.datadir}/templates/workflow</location>

I created two files:
        taskassigned.ftl
        taskassigned_de.ftl

Shouldn't these be picked up by daisy?

Am I getting something wrong?
