[daisy] Query for pictures including the Preview-Image?

Dear list,

our users are finding it hard to select pictures from the multitude of 
pictures in the daisy implementation. So we wanted to provide a list of 
all Image-documents WITH their previews. Is that possible, at all?

We are looking for something like:

 select name,id,language,PreviewImage where ....
