Hello Greg,
I extracted the distribution zip, copied and moved the folder to C:\Daisy - to reflect the setup on the machine I tried to rebuild/restore the backup from. I did set the DAISY_HOME Environment Variable and stopped following the installation manual at this point in time (as Bruno recommended). Instead I continued restoring the backup which seemed to work:
C:\Daisy\bin>daisy-backup-tool.bat -r 20080725_000 -l c:\ -d c:\Daisy\RepoData
- this restored the backup and added the RepoData folder (as on the source machine) to my new daisy installation.
It seems that I am now confused with to many daisy / daisywiki /webapp / daisy folders to chose from
Wrapping everything up I found that there is a WikiData directory on the source machine that was not restored by the backup-tool. Adding it manually the situation is still not resolved.
I now have :
C:\Daisy\ - containing -
apidocs, bin, daisywiki, install, lib, LICENSE.txt, misc, NOTICE.txt, README.txt, RepoData, repository-server, WikiData, wrapper
(RepoData and WikiData which have been restored from the backup)
C:\Daisy\WikiData\ - containing -
books, daisy.xconf, external-include-rules.xml, resources, sites (<-- contained in here is the site from the source machine)
C:\Daisy\daisywiki\ - containing -
bin, conf, endorsedlibs, jetty, jetty-version.txt, logs, webapp, wikidata-template
C:\Daisy\daisywiki\webapp - containing -
daisy, not-found.xml, resources, sitemap.xmap, stylesheets, test-suite, WEB-INF, welcome.xml, welcome.xslt
C:\Daisy\daisywiki\webapp\daisy - containing -
admin, books, ext-samples, resources, sitemap.xmap, sites
Are you able to hint me into the right direction?
so long,
Christian
