[daisy] Adding a new field via document task

Hello everyone,

I've made a change to a document type which added a field. Older
documents made with that doctype do not have the field, so I cannot set
its value using a document task (I am thrown an exception.) The only way
I've been able to set that value is manually editing the document, which
adds the field.

Is there any way of adding a new field via document task?
