[daisy] Obtaining document with variables NOT resolved

Hi there,

I wonder how to achive such result - I need to obtain document from
daisy but with it's variables NOT resolved. The reason for this that we
want to use Daisy as template provider for some internal e-mailing
engine. Such templates contain placeholders that are being filled by
emailing engine with application-specific data. We wanted to force user
to use certain set of placeholders and prevent him/her from doing a typo
error while putting them down in the document. It seemed pretty natural
to use Daisy variable system to define a kind of dictionary of variables
and then use Daisy rich text editor to fill up variables from predefined
set.

We're about to start development and I'd like to check with you if this
approach is feasible. We plan to connect remotely to Daisy using JAVA
API - does this API allow to get documents with not resolved variables?
If not - is there any way to do this?
