[daisy] Excluding fields from variants

Hi, 

I would like to know if there is already a solution to the problem I 
wrote, because I haven't had a comment yet. Please tell me if I got it 
wrong, or if there is some solution to this problem. I am quite new to 
java and xslt so please have patience with my questions 

So here's the question again:
