Hello,

I have been doing some research for my job about CMS's we currently
integrate Zope into our system and we are doing a massive overhaul on our
product and we are looking to more to a new CMS.
I am loving daisy, but I have a request from my boss which I have not been
able to fully see if it's possible and not to much of a hack to get daisy to
work with it.

The issue is "they" don't like the sequential nature of daisy's ID system
and they want to change it to be a univeral urn across all of the
databases.
After looking futher into daisy I found that you can specify the ID of the
document if you import it with a different namespace.
My question is, is there anyway to use the daisy java API to do this. I
have not been able to find a way to create a document and specify it's
namespace.
I see where with a document you can requestID, but it again says you need to
have a separate namespace.

In short is there any easy way without changing daisy's source to implement
our own univeral ID number.

Thank you,

Shane
