the -R option is rendered useless by the fact that the zip files are first checked giving this result:

 $PWD/dsy-data -l /home/karel/tmp/vlkbackup -R 20071008_000
java.security.DigestException: daisy-conf.zip has been tampered with
        at org.outerj.daisy.backupTool.AbstractEntryLoader.isFileBackedUp(AbstractEntryLoader.java:45)
        at org.outerj.daisy.backupTool.AbstractEntryLoader.areFilesBackedUp(AbstractEntryLoader.java:59)
        at org.outerj.daisy.backupTool.DaisyEntryLoader.reloadEntries(DaisyEntryLoader.java:68)
        at org.outerj.daisy.backupTool.BackupManager.loadBackupInstance(BackupManager.java:72)
        at org.outerj.daisy.backupTool.BackupTool.rehashBackup(BackupTool.java:209)
        at org.outerj.daisy.backupTool.BackupTool.main(BackupTool.java:102)

It probably worked in 1.5, but the code has been altered since.
