[daisy] Situation where login is lost after navigating away from page

I've noticed an issue, probably related to the browser:

In Daisy 2.1, when I login with Internet Explorer 7, and then navigate to 
another page, my login information is lost, and when I reach the new page, 
I am logged in as Guest, instead of my normal login. 

This happens also when I login, then click New Document - I am denied 
permission to add the doc, because my login has reverted to Guest.

I tried this on Firefox. There I was asked if I want to save my login 
information. After I agreed to save the info, then it worked fine. When I 
did not agree to save the login info, it reverted to the behavior 
described above. 

I also noticed this in an instance of Daisy 1.3, using IE 7.  However, 
using another machine with IE7, I got the correct behavior. 

Is this just a browser setting causing this?
