In some cases it is useful to directly link to a specific part of a document.
This is also useful for links used for embedded images (<img src="..."/>).
The "daisy:" cocoon source currently has a syntax for this which might or might not be reused, using an exclamation point. This would make the full link syntax like this:
daisy:<docid>@<branch>:<lang>:<version>!<part>#<fragmentid>
Part-linking has become somewhat less of a priority by being able to make direct-part links in the document-styling XSLT based on the linkinfo that is added to links (e.g. AttachmentData is directly linked, image preview is automatically shown for images over a certain width).
