[daisy] [GSoC] likely to be acceptedness warning

hey there

i'm having a bit of a problem with my soc application. i'm not sure if
the mentors can see this but i applied for 1 other project too with the
maemo organization. first of all i want it to be clear that my DaisyCMS
application is the application of my choice, and given the option to
choose i would select Daisy immediatly. The other project proposal i did
is something else (it has to do with WiFi localization) that really
interests me but to me it doesn't offer the advantages that Daisy does.

anyway here's the problem: the people of maemo contacted me and told me
that they got the message that i was being assigned a mentor for Daisy
and they ask me if i wanted to step down from maemo and give other
students my 'spot'. however, i believe that being assigned a mentor does
not mean being selected, by far. so my question is: what should i do?
does daisy want me to step down from maemo as daisy is my first choice?
can i leave all options open in case i wont be selected by daisy or do i
have to make a choice now?
