It would be a really useful extension to the email notification / document subscription system to allow users to get notifications based on a query that they specify. All documents that are created/deleted/changed that match a certain query will get email notifications sent out. 

This is particularly useful in a team environment. Users can subscribe to all new documents created by their team and keep a pulse on it.
