[daisy] section edit a là MediaWiki?

Is there a way to enable section editioning a là MediaWiki in Daisy
(specifically 1.5.1)? Why I ask:

My group currently has a weekly status page. Management wants to be
able to see everything on that one page (e.g. they don't want folks
linking to separate pages) and they like folks' status to be posted by
a given time. As a result, around that time the entire team is trying
to edit the page, and all but one or locked out.

Each person has a separate status header, so, if this was MW, each
person could just edit her/his section. Is there a way to enable such
functionality in Daisy? If so, thanks and I'll whine @ my site's
maintainers. If not, and you'd like me to submit an RFE, please pass
the appropriate link.
