Hey there all,
I'm moving a daisy install from my test set up (daisy 1.4 on a single
solaris box) to my production set up (daisy 2.01 on linux with the
database on a separate server from the repository and wiki).
I'm not really interested in keeping any of the existing design, just
the content created, collection, the users created and the ACL.
I'm wondering if I need to migrate the daisy application in that case. I
would think all I need to do is move the daisydata directory and the
data. Of course I intend to update the data and daisydata directory
following the 1.4 > 1.5 > 2.01 upgrade path. Should that work? I'd
rather not deal with messing with the conf file changes that seem to be
required by the documentation, since I'm going to need to change them
when I get to the final production set up...
I've gotten most of the data to move pretty well. The documents seem to
be problematic. The parts table in particular seems to have a field "
changed_in_version" which my migration didn't generate...
Any suggestions? Thanks...
Best regards,
John Kealy
