The current use of the term "extensions" in Daisy is rather annoying. We have one specific type of extensions for which the name Extension is used, though there are other sorts of extensions too (pre-save hooks, authentication schemes, ...)

This is confusing, as it is hard to distinguish between the generic term "extensions" and the specific sort of "Extension" when talking or writing about them.

Therefore, I'm thinking of renaming the "Extension" extensions to something else. "Add-on" might be a good word for them.
