This happened to me once too. I had renamed the collection for a site.
However, the nav doc "root"'s collection still refered to the old name -
all queries were failing.

In case a navigation-embedded query fails, this is logged to the
repository log files. These can be found in <daisydata dir>/logs
Look for a line saying:
Error executing query in navigation tree: [...]
It would be interesting to know what the error was in this case, surely
it's strange that it doesn't fail in preview.
