Gentlepeople,
I am tasked to implement a simple kind of hybrid WCM/CRM system.
The requirements are briefly summarized below
1) A number of sales reps manage "accounts" for their customers. Some
customers can be managed by multiple sales reps. The sales reps decide which
content gets on the page and this can include any of
1.1) Links to public pages/documents available to all customers but managed
inside the system
1.2) Links to private pages/documents available only to the specific
customer and obviously managed inside the system
1.3) Links to public content/documents not managed in the system
1.4 Custom parts, like simple feedback forms
The steps to add content to the customers' page should be simple (no need
for a complicated workflow). Ideally, a sales rep adds a document to the
system and can immediately, if applicable, identify a customer for which it
applies. When adding a document or link he would also specify some kind of
category to attach to the added information and that category should drive
where the information will be displayed when the customers' (password
protected)(home) page. Styling of the home page should be open but(at least
to start) can be the same for all customers.
I understand this is an extremely incomplete description, but nevertheless,
before I attempt to achieve this with Daisy, would anyone like to comment on
the achievability of this project with Daisy? Any ballpark as on how long it
would require to setup/configure/develop? Any other advice?
All comments are warmly welcomed!
