[daisy] passing variables

Hi,

We are having a website built on a daisywiki. Now we need to get a variable passed from one page to another.
So by clicking a link in one daisy page, you should be able to read a string variable with javascript on the daisypage you linked to.

How can this be achieved? Because the variable should traverse the cocoon pipeline and some xsl-transformations...

any suggestions would be welcome, thanks.
