[daisy] [poll] Any objections to switching to Java 1.5?

As Java 1.5 offers some nice additions, I'm wondering if there would
still be objections against switching to Java 1.5 for future Daisy
releases.

Java 1.5 was released on 2004-09-29, almost two years ago.

I'm especially interested in negative opinions: reasons not switch (e.g.
unavailability or unstability on certain platforms)
