[daisy] Daisy some general questions

I have downloaded Daisy CMS last week? I am not sure it is the right CMS for
me? I develop a chemistry course for university (on CD ROM). Each chapter is
a sequence of pages organized in a hierarchical tree. Each page has a text
and a media (jpg, flash, etc..) Here are a snapshot of a page.

We want to involve many external authors in parallel. My first priority is
to facilitate the authoring process. Each author should be responsible of a
part of a chapter (tree). Do you think Daisy is the right tool to do that? A
author should be able to add pages. When adding a "New Document" is it
possible to automatically generate a node in the tree to simplify the author
work? Is it possible to define a template for the "Default document" so the
author can add text, related articles, description of the media, etc..?
