Installation: empty daisywiki data directory
--------------------------------------------

         Key: DSY-303
         URL: http://issues.cocoondev.org//browse/DSY-303
     Project: Daisy
        Type: Improvement
  Components: Frontend (wiki)
    Versions: public - 1.5
 Reporter: Andreas Deininger
    Priority: Minor

During the daisy installation, you are prompted for the daisy wikidata directory:

The wikidata directory path you enter should be a non-existing or empty
directory. For example, enter c:\daisywikidata or /home/<someuser>/daisywikidata

However, if you specify an empty directory, installation fails:

Exception in thread "main" java.lang.Exception: The datadirectory /cons/daisy5/daisydata/wiki/Userdoc already exists. Choose another location
        at org.outerj.daisy.install.DaisyWikiInitDataDirectory.<init>(DaisyWikiInitDataDirectory.java:114)
        at org.outerj.daisy.install.DaisyWikiInitDataDirectory.main(DaisyWikiInitDataDirectory.java:94)

So either the instructions or the installation routine should be adjusted, IMHO. (If you specify an empty directory for the repository data, everything is fine.)
