To be honest: I mentioned jdic to you 30s after picking up the link and
not reading further then the homepage and thus I have not a full view on
what it does and how it works (anything you can share would help)... so
it's a bit hard for me to call judgment on ditching it...
It seemed at first glance an easy way to launch the appropriate editor
for various parts to be edited. Up to now it looks like we're only
using it the other way around: a way to launch the ddz-gui when a *.ddz
file is double-clicked?
Now, maybe there is an easy go between, where on mac-osx we silently log
the error and continue gracefully, with less features?
in any case it would be nice to understand what those missing features
are then? (pointers to appropriate jdic docs is ok)
Also, are there any statements in the jdic-project (list? faq?
archives?) about supporting mac-osx in near future?
More opinions from mac users are also welcome of course...
