[daisy] Creating new documents: list of available document types

I see the bug: http://issues.cocoondev.org/browse/DSY-329?page=all that
says "With certain settings in the ACL list, the list of available
document types presented when creating new a document is empty even
though the user can create documents via "Page Actions - Duplicate".   "

Is this bug present whenever InCollection('xxxxxxx')  is used in an ACL?

I am trying to limit access to a set of documents using a collection and
an ACL rule giving a certain role access to that collection.  Is there
any way to do this in Daisy 1.5.1 without being affected by this bug and
users losing the list of available documents?
