[daisy] PDF shows images on windows but not on solaris

Hello,

i have a question regarding daisy 1.5.
I have two identical copies of daisy 1.5. 
One running on windows and one running on solaris sparc. They both have exact
the same data, configuration, ACL,...

Now when i generate a PDF of a document in windows it does show images and on
solaris it does not...

Does anyone have an idea what the cause can be?
