[daisy] apache|???|servlet container(daisy)| confusing

Hi everyone,

im wondering if i can get my daisy to be reach able via following urls:

www.mydomain.tld           ->  main wiki instance
sales.mydomain.tld          ->  sales wiki instace
support.mydomain.tld     ->   support wiki instance
...

1 - is it possible to get that done with a rewrite rule like the one
on the 1.5 docs ?
2 - can i deploy the wiki instace into/as the ROOT application of my
servlet container ?
3 - does anyone of you have a clue how i could achieve this taks ?
