Just in case: you don't need to upgrade to 2.0 to be able to run 
parallel instances of Daisy. I'm currently running parallel instances of 
Daisy 1.5, and before that I was running parallel instances of Daisy 
1.3, and of Daisy 1.2.

The setup is just different:

  o With Daisy 1.3/1.2 and OpenJMS, you needed to tweak the ports as 
well as the names of the JMS Topics and Queues within the 
DaisyRepository configuration file 'myconfig.xml' and DaisyWiki's Cocoon 
main configuration file 'cocoon.xconf', otherwise the messages will 
interfere

  o With Daisy 1.5 and ActiveMQ you just need to tweak the ports in 
myconfig.xml and cocoon.xconf.

If you need more information for Daisy 1.3 setup, I can provide you with 
samples.
