How do you handle the case that a document is not available in
the "current" language?
I would propose that in this case, you return the contents of
the document in the default language (which one has to specify
during Wiki setup) plus a visual indicator at the top "this
document is not available in XX, showing the YY variant".
In a future version of Daisy, it should be possible to "link"
language variants in such a way that I can open a view which
shows all changes to a different variant since my last update
of this document.
Maybe editors could mark changes as "relevant to other languages"
and these changes would then be "attached" to all other pages
as "TODOs". The responsible parties could then work through
these lists until all documents have the same state again.
This could be the basis of a translation service where the author
writes a book or something in his or her mother language and
the translators mirror the offorts in the other languages.
Regards,
