[daisy] How extend wiki to support more imagetypes

Is it possible to extend daisy-wiki to support Thumbnail and Preview to image types like
 image/tiff 
 image/psd
and more other types 
 
I have to extend this, so we can use daisy for image management in our intranet.
 
any suggestion is welcome
